Brought in as a pilot program with assistance from the Province's Environmental Trust Fund, like the Composting Demonstration Site, the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada. Haul-All Hid-A-Way recycling bins were placed in each of the nine communities and selected rural areas. The depots contained bins with four cubic yard capacity, There are separate bins for collecting corrugated cardboard and box board with others taking newsprint, magazines and office paper.
